Political activists, strategists, and marketing specialists
Mark Morden and Ronald Massey have been actively involved in local, state, and national politics for many years. From canvassing to campaign management, they have worked with a diverse array of candidates.
Since 2012, Morden and Massey have owned a digital marketing agency, ZoomShoot Photo & Video Production, which powers the Why I’m Voting Podcast. Their passion for empowering the African American community and dedication to Democratic values inspired them to build a platform to educate and motivate young Black Americans.
According to reports from the US Census Bureau, Pew Research, and the Brookings Institution, the white population in the United States has been declining as a share of the total population for several decades. The percentage of people who identify as non-Hispanic white and no other race fell from 64% in 2010 to 58% in 2020. This decline is due to older age, fewer births, more deaths, and minimal immigration.
As people of color become responsible for the success of our country, it is imperative that we prepare for the challenges ahead. Our socioeconomic development has a direct impact on our ability to maintain a top status on the world stage. We must equip our young Black Americans with the high self-actualization required to lead a nation.
